Atlas Lithium Appoints Industry Veteran Nicholas Rowley as Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Rowley brings over a decade of experience with many strong relationships built over time throughout the global lithium space. Mr. Rowley joins the Atlas management team following a lengthy and highly successful career at Galaxy Resources Limited, a lithium-focused company with assets spanning Australia, Canada, and Argentina where he held several key roles, most notably Director of Corporate Development. In this position, he contributed significantly to the growth and enhancement of the Galaxy portfolio of assets through partnerships and divestitures and later to the implementation of its AUD 6 billion merger with Orocobre Limited in 2021, creating Allkem Limited, one of the world’s largest lithium producers.

Mr. Rowley is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Electramin, a global battery metal trading company. In addition, he is the founder and executive director at RTEK International, which has offered mining engineering, planning and business development services to hard-rock lithium explorers and producers worldwide. Mr. Rowley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Management from the University of Notre Dame, Australia.

AcroMeta’s Laboratory Construction Business Rides on Singapore’s Pandemic Readiness Strategy

ACROMETA Group Limited, an established specialist engineering service provider in the field of controlled environments serving mainly the healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, research and academia sectors, announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary company Acromec Engineers Pte Ltd has been awarded a S$19 million contract for the design and construction of a 1,500 sqm high containment biosafety level research laboratory.

The facility is designed for research on highly infectious pathogens potentially carried by infected animals and spread through airborne transmission.

The state-of-the-art project involves the construction of a high containment biosafety laboratory using modular panels for both reliability and durability to withstand long periods of hard usage and repeated commissioning. Construction would be carried out in a ‘live’ building with many existing tenants without affecting their operations. The facility is expected to be completed and certified by 2024 and will be compliant with WHO and MOH high containment facility standards.

Research laboratories a vital link in Singapore’s pandemic readiness strategy

Singapore emerged from the Covid-19 pandemic as one of the countries that scored high marks for its handling of the crisis. Every aspect of the pandemic was systematically studied, monitored, and appropriate actions taken – from procurement and cold storage of vaccines for the entire resident population, to laboratory testing and identification of each mutated variant of the virus as it evolved.

Atlas Lithium Expands Anitta Pegmatite Trend to 2.3 Kilometers; Confirms Near-Surface Mineralization with Trenching

Atlas Lithium Corporation (NASDAQ: ATLX) (“Atlas Lithium” or “Company”), a leading mineral exploration company, is pleased to announce the southwest expansion of the Company’s flagship Anitta pegmatite trend from 1.8 to 2.3 kilometers in length. Anitta is located within the Neves Project, a cluster of four lithium mineral rights that are part of Atlas Lithium’s 100%-owned Minas Gerais Lithium Project in Brazil’s Lithium Valley, an established hard-rock lithium producing jurisdiction.

The increase in size was a result of identification of new targets to the southwest which were subsequently drilled and found to contain spodumene, a lithium-bearing mineral. This has allowed the expansion of Anitta to an area now measuring approximately 2.3 kilometers in length by 500 meters in width. Because of such increase, and as multiple additional targets are available for future drilling, the decision was made to rename various segments in an ascending fashion for ease of logistics: “North Anitta” is now “Anitta 1”, “South Anitta” is now “Anitta 2”, and “Anitta 2” is now “Anitta 3,” as illustrated in Figure 1. Overall, Anitta remains open to further extension laterally, along strike to the southwest, and at depth.

The Company’s drilling campaign to date has yielded high grades of lithium mineralization close the surface in both Anitta 2 and Anitta 3. In Anitta 2, drill hole DHAB-85 showed mineralized spodumene starting at only 3 meters depth. More recently, in Anitta 2, two trenches have shown at least 40 meters of lithium-containing pegmatite at near surface as Figure 2 and Figure 3 indicate.

In Anitta 3, drill hole DHAB-185 intersected 5.23% Li2O at only 9 meters depth, and drill hole DHAB-200 yielded a cumulative total of 46.7 meters of mineralized spodumene starting at only 54 meters depth, including 18.3 meters at an average grade of 1.51% Li2O.

Strong lithium mineralization at near-surface depths in both Anitta 2 and Anitta 3 is an important differentiator for the Company’s assets. Such locations may become, over time, sites for open pit mining, a modality which allows for faster and less costly operational development.

Kitchen Culture: Resolution of rental arrears and other legacy issues addressed

The Board of Directors of Kitchen Culture Holdings Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of new Directors to the Board to move the Company forward from its recent troubled history. This is in line with the Board’s objective to usher in a new era of transparency, accountability and business expertise.

The Board is pleased to announce the significant progress in resolving some of these issues.

The Company had received a letter of demand on 14 March 2023 from CDL Properties Ltd in relation to the Company’s alleged default of the lease agreement between the Company and CDL. The Company was subsequently evicted from its premises by CDL on 16 March 2023. The Board is pleased to announce that the Company has reached a settlement with CDL on 21 July 2023 to fully settle rental arrears and reinstate the office in Republic Plaza.

The Board’s priority has been to resolve outstanding legacy issues, including negotiating with creditors to resolve all long overdue liabilities, engaging an external auditor to audit the FY2022 financial statements, working with the special auditor to complete the special audit, and strengthening the Company’s internal controls.

In addition, the Board received a letter of demand from Mr Tan Gin Tat on 17 July 2023 for the S$1.5 million loan extended to the Company in the year 2022, as this is one of the legacy issues requiring resolution. The Board is currently seeking legal advice on this matter and will update shareholders in due course.

The Board had on 21 July 2023 announced that the Special Audit in relation to the Payroll Matter and the Transaction as announced by the Company on 29 September 2021, as agreed under the scope of work of the Special Auditors, has now been completed. The Board will now engage with relevant professionals to address the issues and recommendations raised from the Special Audit. In relation to the appointment of a new external auditor, the Board has identified a suitable external auditor and will be seeking shareholders’ approval for the appointment in due course.

The Board is also focused on fundraising and evaluating sustainable business opportunities to ensure the Company’s future success. As part of these efforts, the Company will be releasing a detailed business update as soon as practicable.

Q&M Free Dental Clinic launched to provide free essential dental treatments for underprivileged individuals and families

Q&M Free Dental Clinic Limited, a registered charity under the Commission of Charities, has opened its first Q&M Free Dental Clinic in Chai Chee dedicated to delivering essential dental treatment for underprivileged individuals and families in need.

The opening ceremony at 26 Chai Chee Rd was witnessed by Guest-of-Honour Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health; and Tan Chuan-Jin, Speaker of Parliament, and Adviser to Marine Parade GRC Grassroots Organisations (Kembangan-Chai Chee).

In its first phase of operations, the free clinic will be staffed by more than 50 volunteer dentists from Q&M Dental Group, on a rotational basis and is expected to serve up to 1,400 patients each year. Eligible patients will be initially referred by grassroots organisations within Kembangan-Chai Chee Division and will receive free dental consultation and treatments that are essential to oral health, such as scaling and polishing, fillings, and extractions.

Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Speaker of Parliament, and Adviser to Marine Parade GRC Grassroots Organisations (Kembangan-Chai Chee), said, “In Kembangan-Chai Chee, preventive healthcare has been an essential pillar of our social initiatives, besides food security and education. While we have made inroads with health screening, vaccinations, and general health management, we realise that oral health has often been overlooked, especially for our underprivileged residents.

“Hence, the idea of a free dental clinic was mooted over lunch with Dr Ng and I in August 2021 and we are grateful to have Q&M Dental Group partnering with us in this meaningful journey. This initiative is also timely as it fits perfectly into our nationwide Preventive Healthcare Program – Healthier SG,” he added.

Dr Ng Chin Siau, Group CEO of Q&M Dental Group said, “With the continued support of our generous donors and volunteer staff, we aim to ramp up the current capacity to serve up to 5,000 patients per year in the free clinic’s next phase of operations, in line with our goal to make dental care accessible to all.”

Q&M Dental Group led the fundraising efforts to fully equip and set up the free dental clinic, donating S$500,000 to fund the initial costs of renovations and equipment. In total, close to S$1 million was raised together with the support of other key donors including Quan Min Holdings, Straumann, Belmont, Prof Hwang Yee Cheau, Madam Kong Siew Yin, Ng Kok Mee, Navi Corporate Advisory Pte Ltd and Dr Ng Chin Siau, in his personal capacity.

“The generosity of our donors will make a lasting impact on the lives of the underprivileged, providing essential dental care for them and creating a healthier community overall. We look forward to collaborating with other stakeholders to reach out to more patients in need and galvanise the medical community to contribute their expertise and resources to ensure everyone has access to essential healthcare services,” added Dr Ng.

SMI Vantage: Acqusition of 51% Stake in Provino Logistics to Complement and Expand Current Business Areas in F&B

SMI Vantage Limited, a company listed on the mainboard of the SGX, recently announced that the Company entered into a sales and purchase agreement (“the Agreement”) with Michael Hadley and his partners, on the acquisition of a 51% stake in Provino Logistics Pte Ltd (“The Target”).

The Target’s business activities are based in Singapore and is primarily in third party logistics specializing in inventory management services to the wine and spirits and other alcoholic beverages industry including export services (“Business”). It uses a world class proprietary Warehouse Management System making the company a leader in the use of such technologies.

Combined with the Group Chief Executive Officer’s (“CEO”) considerable knowledge of, and global network in, the field of wines and spirits, the Board is of the view that the Proposed Acquisition will allow the Company to further develop its logistics business, an area which the Group already has considerable expertise.

CEO and President of SMI Vantage Mark Bedingham is a graduate of Oxford University and began his career with Jardine Matheson and was subsequently appointed as a Director of Jardine Pacific. He joined Moet Hennessy (LVMH Group) in the mid-1990s as the Regional Managing Director of APAC and served in that role for twenty years. Today, he also serves on the Board of The Artisanal Spirits Company (ASC), a company that owns the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) a specialist bottler of cask strength single malt whisky and is a membership-based e-commerce business. He has also previously served as Executive Chairman in two large hospitality companies, both of which have a significant presence in Singapore.

Doubleview Resumes Diamond Drilling Exploration at Hat Project

Doubleview Gold Corp. (TSXV: DBG) (OTCQB: DBLVF) (GERMANY: A1W038) (the “Company or “Doubleview”) is pleased to announce that it has resumed exploration drill program at its 100% owned HAT project, a polymetallic project located in Northwest British Columbia. The deposit definition and exploratory drilling program is planned to delineate the mineralization of the polymetallic Hat porphyry deposit. The Company is well funded for the 2023 field season.

President and CEO, Mr. Farshad Shirvani stated: “We are excited to be back at the project to continue drilling. The very successful programs of the past years have further strengthened our understanding of the project and its geology. With confidence we are exploring the western and eastern parts of the Lisle zone which I believe will expand the deposit. In addition, we are planning to drill the unexplored southern extension. The perimeters are being examined in accordance with the geological and mineralization model devised by our team of experienced geologists. However, the recent drilling efforts have not accurately defined the boundaries of the deposit.

The Hat Project is a large alkalic copper-gold porphyry-type deposit located in northwestern British Columbia that since 2011 has been explored by Doubleview utilizing technical surveys and diamond drilling operations. Hat Property surveys and drilling have been largely directed to the Lisle copper-gold-cobalt-scandium mineral zone. Principal minerals are chalcopyrite, pyrite and magnetite hosted in volcaniclastic and gabbroic formations. The Lisle Zone has indicated dimensions of approximately 2.7 km by 1.7 km and is still being delimited laterally and at depth.

Cautionary Note: Although a mineral resource estimation is currently being prepared by an independent engineering firm, no mineral resources have been estimated at the Hat Property and there is no assurance that further work will result in the Lisle Zone, or other zones if present, being classified as mineral resources.
