Google Ads and Meta Ads continues to dominate remarketing index despite Apple’s privacy changes: AppsFlyer Performance Index 15

  • App install ad spend budgets dropped 14% in the first half of 2022, but the use of owned media is on the rise
  • Industry players vie bigger piece of the pie, as powerhouse Google Ads and Meta Ads loses app install market shares

AppsFlyer the global attribution leader today released the 15th edition of its Performance Index, ranking the top media sources in mobile advertising. The first half of 2022, with its continuing privacy changes, economic downturn and post-Covid cooldown, has caused a reshuffling across the ecosystem.

Consistent with Global findings, mid-sized Asia-Pacific (APAC) players are observed seizing the opportunity to gain market share as the top media sources lose ground.

Media sources endeavor to prevail against tougher privacy on Retention Index

The aftershocks created by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework continue to generate major challenges for app marketers and media companies alike. Notably, both Google Ads and Meta Ads have lost ground on iOS due to Apple’s privacy changes.

However on the Android market, Google Ads and Meta Ads continues to maintain its domination throughout Southeast Asia thanks to its unrivaled scale. Both sources have been ranked on the power ranking and volume ranking of the AppsFlyer retention index across gaming and non-gaming categories.

Despite this, the rankings do not reflect the fluctuations in app install market share for these media giants. A deeper dive into these rankings indicates a major loss in app install market shares for Google Ads and Meta Ads in H1. This has significantly enabled other media sources to take over and emerge in the rankings.

Remarking on this observation, Tan Tmangraksat, Director of Partner Development, SEAPAC AppsFlyer said “All of the above changes present multiple opportunities for marketers and media partners in the mobile ecosystem. Apple’s privacy framework is a constant challenge that’s here to stay. Coupled with the current macroeconomic conditions, marketers are laser focused on the most profitable media sources and channels as the cost of media rises. Marketers and media companies that are able to demonstrate their value will be those that prevail.”

Players vying for bigger piece of the pie

Meanwhile, global mobile advertising platform Mintegral, and mobile app technology company AppLovin are showing positive growth against its competitors on the iOS market for gaming, ranking 1st and 2nd on multiple categories on the power ranking and volume ranking.

As marketers seek ways to save money during the economic slowdown, smaller players have also turned to owned media to drive re-engagement.

Remerge Singapore and TikTok For Business have emerged 4th and 5th respectively on the APAC Remarketing Index for the Android market, highlighting greater focus for owned media campaigns since its H2 2021 rankings. Google Ads and Meta Ads have maintained their lead in the top two positions, while Google Marketing Platform shows rapid growth moving to 3rd position.

“Ecosystem players need to rapidly adapt to a more risk averse environment and think outside the box to maintain efficiency at scale. With rapid and constant changes to the mobile app media landscape, we can expect even more ad network partners to emerge in the rankings on future indexes. More importantly, adaptability to these changes will prove to be instrumental and separate between tomorrow’s winners and losers amongst strong competition.” added Tmangraksat.

Additional Global Key Findings:

  • Meta Ads continues to rank #1 in the SKAN In-App Purchases (IAP) Index globally, but was still severely impacted by Apple’s privacy changes
  • Google Ads also picked up some ground in SKAN, after an extremely slow start, finishing 3rd in the IAP ranking
  • Overall, there was an 18% increase in installs driven by owned media on Android in H1 2022 vs. H2 2021
  • A natural shift to owned media on iOS was observed due to privacy constraints and significant rise in media costs which surged by 30%
  • While the use of owned media to drive installed increased by 20% in H1 2022, the number of remarketing conversions driven by owned media campaigns was up more than double that at 45%

Methodology:
AppsFlyer’s Performance Index analyzed a total of over 500 media sources, 27 billion installs, and over 19,000 apps from January to June 2022. From this, the SKAN Index covered 450 million postbacks from over 2,400 apps and 45 media sources.

AppsFlyer teams up with Intel to introduce The AppsFlyer Privacy Cloud

  • The AppsFlyer Privacy Cloud is the Next Phase in the Company’s Evolution, Enabling a Better, Safer Digital Experience Through Ecosystem Collaboration

AppsFlyer announced it is collaborating with Intel to build the AppsFlyer Privacy Cloud. The AppsFlyer Privacy Cloud allows multiple entities to safely bring their data together based on their own business logic, guidelines and privacy requirements while leveraging a privacy-preserving tech stack including Aggregated Advanced Privacy (AAP), Aggregated Conversion Modeling (ACM), Data Clean Rooms, privacy preserving cryptographic solutions, Predictive analytics, and others.

AppsFlyer is collaborating with Intel to leverage the hardware-enhanced crypto acceleration in Intel’s 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable platform to significantly speed up computation for the Privacy Cloud’s high performance advanced homomorphic encryption (HE) applications.

AppsFlyer’s Privacy Cloud is a trusted open platform for innovation that enhances end-users experience while preserving their privacy when using any connected device, on any platform, app store, OS or browser. Within the Privacy Cloud, platforms, app stores, ad-networks, and app developers will be able to define their own Privacy Cloud Applications (PCA) based on their business logic, privacy guidelines and tech stack.

This is especially relevant in Southeast Asia, an increasingly digitalized region and one where marketers are increasing their focus. The region has added 40 million new internet users in 2021, and the internet economy in the region expected to hit USD 363 billion in 2025, according to the recent e-Conomy SEA report. AppsFlyer’s own data also showed that the Asia Pacific region is one that will command the lion’s share of app install spend, with over half of global budgets in 2022.

Homomorphic encryption (HE) is a powerful new technique for enabling computation and collaboration on private and sensitive data through end-to-end encryption. It is an emerging form of encryption allowing private data computation without the need to decrypt the data. HE enables computing on always-encrypted data, resulting in enhanced privacy preserving capabilities. HE offers developers and brands a way to collaborate and gain insights across organizations, without compromising their end user privacy. Intel’s platform improves performance to support end-to-end data encryption.

This is a long-term ecosystem collaboration AppsFlyer and Intel will be investing in, and once it becomes widely available, AppsFlyer will be able to migrate parts of the Privacy Cloud Data Clean Rooms to a zero-trust cryptography solution, while preserving backward compatibility interfaces.

“The AppsFlyer Privacy Cloud is a natural next step of our current offering and our long-term vision,” said Oren Kaniel, CEO and Co-Founder, AppsFlyer. “AppsFlyer’s unique positioning means that we have a responsibility to carry out during these major ecosystem shifts. Cryptographic solutions such as HE could be a huge step forward for privacy led measurement, revolutionizing how brands gain insights. We’re thrilled to be working with Intel on this technology to make it a reality for our customers, and the entire ecosystem.”

“Asia Pacific has one of the most robust digital marketplaces in the world, with marketers and brands always looking at innovative ways to reach their audiences in the fastest growing ecommerce markets in the world. As the industry and consumers in the region develop their privacy concerns, we’re proud to announce this collaboration to lead the industry and help marketers thrive in this region,” said Ronen Mense, President, APAC, AppsFlyer.

“Homomorphic encryption is a powerful new tool, which will enable AppsFlyer’s partners and customers to gain valuable insights while maintaining a very high standard of user privacy,” said Nir Peled, general manager, Private AI and Analytics, Intel. “Our collaboration with AppsFlyer is a step toward the future of privacy preserving computing.”

AppsFlyer Launches SKAdNetwork Ranking for the New Privacy Era in Latest Performance Index; Xiaomi is Fastest-growing Media Source in Southeast Asia

The first index following Apple’s ATT enforcement shows that mobile media sources are still adapting to the new privacy reality

AppsFlyer, the marketing measurement and experience platform, today released the 13th edition of its Performance Index, ranking the top media sources in mobile advertising. In its edition, AppsFlyer is pioneering the SKAN Index, a SKAdNetwork ranking that reflects the new reality of privacy generated by the enforcement of Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

Apple’s ATT impact on the mobile industry has been substantial. While Facebook dominated AppsFlyer’s pre-SKAdNetwork iOS rankings, TikTok for Business claimed the number one spot in the first SKAN Index. Facebook dropped to second and also lost the top spot to Apple Search Ads (ASA) in the Retention Index among consenting users. Google, on the other hand, in line with AppsFlyer’s previous rankings, continues to dominate in Android and drive the largest number of installs in app marketing.

The Growth index found that Xiaomi took top spot as the fastest-growing media source for Android mobile advertising in Southeast Asia — beating out Adjoe and Adfly. However, Adjoe still ranked as the fastest-growing media source globally, with its 60% increase in clients and 2.5% rise in non-organic installs largely driven by success in Southeast Asia.

TikTok for Business leads power ranking in industry-first SKAN Index
TikTok For Business has adapted the best to SKAdNetwork six months after Apple’s ATT enforcement, capturing first in the power ranking with good quality at scale, and reaching fifth place in the volume ranking. Facebook took the second spot in the power ranking, losing ground since the enforcement of ATT, but took first place in the volume ranking due to its scale.

AppLovin ranked third in both the power and volume rankings, with Google Ads coming in fourth in the power ranking. While traditionally not the most dominant media source in iOS, Google did place second in the volume ranking.

“The impact of ATT on the mobile app industry has been substantial, and AppsFlyer’s goal was to provide advertisers with the most accurate scorecard based on the media sources that can, ultimately, drive the most value in this new era of privacy,” said Sam Chiu, Senior Director of Marketing, APAC, AppsFlyer. “While it’s clear that we are still in a transition phase, and that media sources have to adapt to a completely different measurement framework that requires significant changes to their existing technologies, we wanted to provide marketers with a direction with which partners to work with in this new reality.”

Google continues to dominate Android, widening its lead from the rest
Google is continuing to exponentially drive the largest number of installs in app marketing, further increasing its lead over Facebook in Android devices. The search giant ranked first in the Retention Index’s power and volume rankings in all Gaming and non-gaming categories, with the exception of racing games. Most of its growth came from Gaming, where it increased its share in global app installs by 5% comparing H1 2021 to H2 2020.

Google enjoys the biggest reach in every region, but most of its growth comes from Android-dominated countries, particularly in India, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Google’s unrivaled reach in Android is also the main reason why it is ranked number two in the In-App Purchases (IAP) Index power ranking with a score that was only slightly lower than Facebook’s. However, it did claim the first spot in the power ranking in non-gaming as well as in the Casual gaming group.

The remarketing Index shows that although Facebook still dominates this category, Google is closing the gap and has even claimed the top spot in Europe and among Finance apps, globally. In fact, Google increased its share of the app remarketing conversion pie by 33% comparing H1 2021 and H2 2020.

Apple Search Ads overtakes Facebook among consented users in iOS

AppsFlyer found that among consenting users, Apple Search Ads (ASA) ranked first in both the Retention Index’s global power and volume rankings. In fact, iOS marketers flocked to ASA following the enforcement of ATT, with ASA reaching almost 60% of its traffic from the previous index which covered the entire second half of 2020 in only seven weeks.

ASA is the only media source in iOS that functions independently of SKAdNetwork and deterministically attributes users. While ASA is not a lateral comparison to other media sources in the rankings, AppsFlyer applied the same methodology for ASA and its competitors despite the differences in which they operate due to ASA’s volume of users with full data granularity, which is ultimately what marketers seek.

ASA’s success was driven by non-gaming apps where it ranked first, thanks to the top spot it secured in the Life & Culture group in seven regions across the globe: Eastern Europe, Greater China, Japan & Korea, Latin America, Middle East, North America, and Western Europe. In Gaming, ASA ended up third in the power ranking and fourth in the volume ranking. Its performance in Gaming was largely driven by its first-placed power rankings in the Casual Gaming group in Japan & Korea, the Middle East, Western Europe, and North America.

ASA’s advantage was also evident in the IAP Index, overcoming Facebook to take the number one global power and volume ranking, driving quality users at scale, with a first place showing in non-gaming and second place result in Gaming.

Methodology:
AppsFlyer’s Performance Index analyzed a total of 623 media sources, 33 billion installs, and over 17,000 apps. From this, the SKAN Index covered 150 million postbacks from over 3,000 apps. To ensure the accuracy of data during this transition phase, AppsFlyer utilized SKAN data from August 1st to September 30th, 2021.

AppsFlyer Launches Conversion Studio to Enable Single Source Mapping for SKAdNetwork Post-install Measurement

AppsFlyer’s latest SKAN innovation provides advertisers full control over metrics measurement in the era of iOS 14+

AppsFlyer, the marketing measurement and experience platform, today launched Conversion Studio, a hyper-flexible solution for conversion value measurement. Conversion Studio enables marketers to master conversion values by maximizing the lifetime value measurement for post-install activity simply and effectively within the limited capacity of the SKAN framework.

“With Conversion Studio, we set out to help marketers with a challenge that has plagued them in the post iOS 14 era: the difficulty in understanding how valuable their acquired users are in the long run,” said Roy Yanai, Head of Product, SKAdNetwork, AppsFlyer. “By design, SKAN limits advertisers to a single conversion value, which only captures one aspect of the user’s post-install activity. With Conversion Studio, AppsFlyer is giving marketers the power to master SKAdNetwork conversions and take back control over SKAN post-install measurement with insight into the lifetime value of their users.”

Conversion Studio provides marketers the ability to easily set their conversion value mapping with the flexibility to measure several metrics simultaneously. With visual cues that show the conversion value capacity and how each metric is measured, advertisers can easily fine-tune their mapping to make sure they’re making the most of virtually any post-install events, including metrics such as revenue, engagement, retention and conversion. Once the conversion value mapping is housed in AppsFlyer, it can be easily shared with all the SKAN integrated partners, serving as a single-source-of-truth for SKAN measurement.

With Conversion Studio, marketers will now be able to:

  • Split measurement metrics. Marketers can now customize their measurement, simultaneously measuring metrics that’s most important to them, such as revenue, in-app engagement, retention and more.
  • Extend the post-install user activity timer to a 72 hour window. By extending the activity timer, marketers will be able to measure longer lifetime value. In addition, marketers have an additional option of knowing when a user was last active, which facilitates the measuring of critical aspects like retention and cohorts.
  •  Measure ranges within any specific metric. Defining flexible ranges within a specific metric enables marketers to be more efficient with the number of conversion values they implement.
  • Measure funnels to optimize the full capacity of lifetime value. By choosing the funnel function in Conversion Studio, advertisers can efficiently measure sequential events by using fewer values, optimizing the amount of in-app events measured.

“With AppsFlyer’s solution for custom conversion value mapping, we finally have the freedom in what and how we want to measure on iOS,” Michal Prokop Grno, Head of Marketing Analytics, Pixel Federation. “And all of that without the need to write a single line of code.”

New AppsFlyer Report Finds View-through Attribution Impacts Ad Clicks and App Installs

  • In Southeast Asia, the Report finds that view-through attribution (VTA) drives significant installs in certain markets and verticals.
  • eCommerce, Media & Entertainment, and Finance see higher (VTA) adoption, and the VTA conversions can go up to as high as 90.8% for the travel industry.
  • Incorporating VTA with click-through attribution (CTA) helps capture true consumer journey and drives downstream benefits, such as 113% faster ad optimization and more stable auction spend.
  • Videos are more engaging than generic creatives, hence marketers should look beyond immediate click behaviour to accurately measure brand engagement.

AppsFlyer, the global attribution leader, today released its inaugural View-Through Attribution (VTA) Report. From Q4 2020 until February 2021, the report looked at impressions, examined video content, and VTA campaigns performance across 6 SEA countries (Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines) and 9 Industries (Shopping, Travel, Gaming, Finance, Entertainment, Education, Food & Drink, Lifestyle, and Health & Fitness) with the objective to provide marketers with insights into how right attributions could capture true consumer journey, increase optimization and drive benefits.

The report found that ads and videos are so immersive and engaging that users do not necessarily interact with the ad immediately because they do not want to leave the video experience midway. These users said they expect to engage with brands in a meaningful way as they claimed to be 1.5X more likely to purchase an item. Video exposure is impactful and influences purchase behavior. Incorporating VTA can help allocate credit in line with true consumer behavior.

In a study by Nielsen and Teluna, commissioned by TikTok For Business, consumers on video platforms said they will continue browsing content before moving to external websites or apps, with YouTube users supporting 60% of this statement, 58% on TikTok, 45% on Instagram and 40% on Facebook. This means that marketers should look beyond immediate click behaviour to accurately measure brand engagement.

VTA is an important metric to accurately measure the true user journey, since many users will purchase an item or install an app at a later stage. The report found that all SEA markets have at least VTA windows of 24 to 48 hours with up to 83.8% conversion rate.

“Constantly looking to expand our horizons, we are pleased to announce the all-new inaugural view-through attribution report. Southeast Asia’s flourishing video content landscape is providing advertisers with novel ways to tap into new opportunities when engaging customers in a rapidly evolving ecosystem. We encourage marketers to use the report to utilise key data and insights on how best to maximise their campaign performances and understand the interconnections between determining metrics, behaviours and trends across Southeast Asian mobile app users,” states Ronen Mense, President and Managing Director for APAC, AppsFlyer.

Video ad inventories have become a growing mechanism in Southeast Asia, especially amid Southeast Asia’s flight to digital, accounting for 40% of all programmatic ad spends in the region. From this, short video ads of approximately 10 seconds drive installs or post-install events on platforms such as TikTok, making it a popular choice for advertisers to utilise in their campaigns. The rise of video has turned marketers towards using VTA models to best attribute their marketing efforts, compared to when using non-video inventories. The VTA Report also emphasised that marketers still need to incorporate a call to action to encourage conversion – as Impression-to-Install still remains somewhat low.

The report also found that due to the longer consideration process for “high-involvement” verticals, higher VTA is seen. Amongst all verticals examined, Finance in particular showed that despite fewer video impressions, more conversions were accredited to view-through attribution. High VTA rates were also seen in other verticals such as eCommerce and Media & Entertainment, with the lowest VTA rate seen in Gaming – averaging out at slightly less than a day across all countries. Marketers should therefore consider re-calibrating their attribution models according to their vertical and incorporate VTA as an important metric for conversions, as many users may not convert upon their first view.

Additional highlights from the report:
– Key festivities such as Singles’ Day and New Year and lockdowns play an important role in peaks in clicks in the Food and Drink vertical, driven by VTA in Singapore and Indonesia.
— Health & Fitness apps in particular saw a spike in Southeast Asian markets in October, especially Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, mainly as a result of cross-regional awareness campaigns. A similar outcome was seen in December during the transition to the new year with health and fitness, and shopping apps.
– Marketers that are able to measure and optimize a CTA and VTA method have seen success in their campaigns.
— In Southeast Asia, ecommerce, media & entertainment, and finance are the verticals with the highest CTA + VTA and are able to optimize ads by 113% faster with low spend.
— TikTok data shows industries such as Finance, E-commerce and Media and Entertainment recorded at least 22.8% VTA conversions when compared with CTA conversions across Southeast Asia in 2020 and VTA conversions can go up to 90.8%.
– The importance of the VTA model: if the average attribution window for one vertical is one day, an Install registered by a viewer would be accredited as most users in Southeast Asia need access to WiFi to download an app.
– Singapore, being a more developed market, has a longer average attribution window of close to 1.5 days unlike just over a day in Philippines and Thailand as consumers in established economies take a longer time to convert.
– iOS 14.5’s Ad Tracking Transparency feature is still being implemented and will change the app economy and ability to measure campaigns. However, Apple’s SKAdNetwork, an API for measurement of ad campaigns, continues to provide advertisers with a VTA measurement option, while maintaining the privacy of the users. This emphasises that advertisers should still consider VTA as part of iOS14 dedicated campaigns. TikTok has supported SKAN CTA since the rollout of iOS 14.5 in late April 2021. Starting from June 2021, TikTok has also started to support SKAN VTA via an open beta, with more tests to be conducted before an official general release.

The AppsFlyer report analysed over 14,600 apps, 10.39 billion installs, and 6.3 billion remarketing conversions, and takes into account both click-through attribution (CTA) and view-through attribution (VTA). CTA looks at installs made after clicking on an ad while VTA registers ad impressions that result in an install without the user immediately clicking on an ad. The app may sometimes be installed a day or two later and helps to outline a typical customer’s journey.

AppsFlyer Announces Predictive Analytics Product for SKAdNetwork as Part of SK360, Its Comprehensive SKAdNetwork Suite

The first to market predictive analytics product for SKAdNetwork will be available in early spring

AppsFlyer, the global attribution leader, today announced the upcoming launch of PredictSK, a new predictive analytics solution that will be a part of its robust SKAdNetwork suite, SK360. The new product will be available after Apple will start enforcing its AppTrackingTransparency framework in early spring. The SK360 suite will continue to support the ecosystem throughout Apple’s upcoming privacy updates.

SKAdNetwork is about to become a major part of campaign measurement and optimization on iOS, following Apple’s latest privacy changes. This deterministic attribution framework provides advertisers with some data on their iOS campaigns, and while Apple has been continuously making updates to improve its offering to advertisers and app developers, it also introduces critical limitations.

To equip advertisers with the ability to continue driving positive results and accurately enhance their campaigns, AppsFlyer has added a new suite to its set of iOS 14 solutions – SK360. This comprehensive suite of tools enables brands to configure and optimize their conversion value, validate their data & keep it fraud free, and integrate with their choice of partners, all through a dedicated, centralized analytics dashboard. Networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Snap, ironSource and dozens of others have already signed on to ensure that relevant data such as postbacks and conversion value schemas are seamlessly delivered to AppsFlyer and any chosen partners.

“We’ve been working closely with AppsFlyer to deliver a fully operational plug-and-play SKAdNetwork solution in record time,” said Liwei Chen, Staff Product Manager, Twitter. “The solution was designed together to validate all advertisers’ needs from SKAdNetwork are met: data trust, granularity, optimization and measurement. This is another exciting step for advertisers, delivering upon our promise of helping drive business success while maximizing end-user privacy.”

PredictSK, AppsFlyer’s predictive analytics solution for SKAdNetwork will be officially rolled out later this year, in line with Apple’s ATT enforcement, as part of the company’s SK360 suite. One of SKAdNetwork’s limitations is the very short window advertisers are expected to rely on for measuring campaign performance. With only 24 hours of user activity to work with, optimization is nearly impossible. With PredictSK, advertisers will be able to leverage early signals of engagement (first 24-72 hours) to predict long-term campaign performance. PredictSK puts mobile attribution in SKAdNetwork on ‘auto-pilot’, removing the measurement and timing barriers and allowing advertisers to maintain and strengthen their competitive edge in this new reality.

“Since the very beginning, AppsFlyer has been leading iOS 14 innovation, with full transparency to us about the solutions as they became available,” said Dmitry Pinchuk, VP Marketing, SocialPoint. “As a privacy-oriented brand, it was imperative to us that we get on board with the new privacy features for iOS 14. AppsFlyer Launches Xpend to Provide Marketers Accurate Cost Data at Scale in One Holistic Platform

Xpend ties aggregate cost and attribution data together so marketers can quickly and effectively optimize marketing performance and accurately calculate their true ROI

AppsFlyer, the global attribution leader, today announced the launch of Xpend, the company’s new cost aggregation product that supports complex schema and data mapping to help alleviate the pain points marketers face due to fragmented cost data. With the industry shifting towards a more aggregate way of measuring marketing efforts, the importance of having an accurate, complete, and actionable cost aggregation solution has become paramount. Xpend covers 100% of marketers’ spend data from any source, and provides access to granular data enabling them to act fast on their spending goals, accurately optimize ad spend, and ultimately make smarter and more informed decisions.

“Over the past few years, we’ve worked with thousands of customers and partners measuring tens of billions of dollars in ad spend through our cost aggregation product. Everything we learned was used to create its next generation – Xpend,” said Gal Brill, General Manager – ROI360, AppsFlyer. “We see this product as part of a holistic approach to help our advertisers and partners keep their marketing stack working seamlessly. “Providing aggregate cost data via APIs has become more important than ever before. Through years of experience working with performance marketers, we’ve built Xpend to solve the data aggregation and normalization challenges that marketers face today. AppsFlyer is well known for providing reliable and accurate attribution data; tying in cost is only a natural next step.”

Marketers are familiar with the tedious setbacks associated with fragmented data such as manually entering in weekly spend reports for hundreds of channels and sources, pulling together endless spreadsheets, filling in missing gaps, and correcting wrong data. As marketers strive to keep up with growing scale and data complexity, Xpend allows them to access all of their data in one innovative in-house solution to accurately optimize their marketing spend.

With industry updates focused around privacy and security ahead, using cost data tied to attribution links alone may no longer be considered a reliable solution on its own. This is why combining privacy centric attribution with aggregating cost data directly through API integrations with partner networks is a critical solution for marketers.

“At the core of our customer-centric strategy is keeping our ear to the ground: listening and responding to the industry’s pulse. We should know what marketers want and need before they even realize it,” said Ronen Mense, APAC President & Managing Director, AppsFlyer.

The exponential expansion of data, coupled with the challenge of managing thousands of channels and networks, has become the number 1 pain point for every marketer. On top of this, the inclusion of currencies has also created an expensive and wasteful problem of information overload. From that point on, we knew we had to develop an industry-first solution.

With Xpend, all of these data points are being pulled into one place, seamlessly housing attribution and cost under one control center. This latest AppsFlyer product offering delivers an accurate, mobile-first compatible, and fully optimized cross-channel experience.”

Xpend provides marketers a comprehensive way to access all cost data and streamline it into an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, which aligns various schema of data into a single model that makes the data easy to aggregate, analyze, and optimize. Additionally, Xpend is integrated with 60+ APIs, including Facebook, Google, AppLovin, and recently added Twitter & Tencent Marketing Solutions.
