The collaboration promises to provide global learning opportunities and future ready skills for students

Singapore-headquartered Global Schools Group (GSG), an initiative of Global Schools Foundation (GSF), has entered into a strategic partnership with Emirates American School (EAS), Sharjah; bringing together two stalwarts in education who have the common vision of providing locally and globally advanced 21st-century education to students.

GSG has witnessed remarkable growth in the UAE with 4 schools spanning across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and now Sharjah, offering a diverse educational landscape that aligns with the overarching vision of the country. In 2022, under the patronage of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), GSG opened its One World International School campus in Riyadh, where it offers a well-designed American/ IB curriculum.

EAS is a leading American K12 school which follows the Common Core State Standards, accredited by COGNIA (AdvancED) – a valuable mark of distinction which exemplifies excellence in education and outstanding service to their learners. Spread across 4,25,000 sq ft., EAS has student strength of close to 2000 with 125 teaching staff members.

Each year over 150 global universities engage with GSG students who are guided by specialised in-house career counsellors. GSG students have been accepted by Ivy League universities such as Harvard, Princeton and Yale, other leading universities such as Stanford, UC Berkeley.

Singapore-headquartered Global Schools Foundation (GSF) has entered a strategic partnership with Witty Group of Institutions from India. The partnership brings together two prominent international school platforms with a common vision of providing highly innovative education formats that create global learning opportunities and future ready skills for students.

Witty Group of Institutions has campuses in Mumbai, Udaipur and Bhilwara, where they offer international curricula like Cambridge IGCSE and A Levels, as well as Indian curricula like CBSE and ICSE. The schools are known for their values-based education with special emphasis on kindling students’ interest in innovative pursuits to make them inquisitive, informed, self-aware and ethical citizens.

GSF network of international schools, spread across 64 campuses in 11 countries, focus on a skills-based educational framework delivered through state-of-the-art infrastructure that use tools like proprietary Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, to bring good learning outcomes for students.

Global Schools Foundation’s investment arm and its related entities (Global Schools Group, GSG) announced that funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. have committed to providing approximately S$190 million, nearly doubling their total capital commitment to the Global Schools Group. Apollo funds initially provided long-term funding to Global Schools Group in 2021.

This additional commitment will enable GSG to ramp up its investments over US$650 million and to complete initial transactions in the European and UK markets, whilst consolidating its existing presence in Asia and the Middle East. The Company’s expectation is to further deploy US$1.5 to 2 billion over the next few years, accelerating its global expansion through merger and acquisition of leading, super-premium, and Ivy League K12 schools.

In the past three years, GSG has completed over 25 acquisitions, adding over 20,000 students across Asia and the Middle East. Recent transactions include 100% acquisition of Dwight School Seoul, South Korea (Press Release); Glendale Academy Hyderabad, India (Press Release); Silveroaks International School, Bangalore, India (Press Release); Regent International Schools, Malaysia (Press Release); CISM, Philippines (Press Release); Harrods International Academy, Cambodia (Press Release); and Vikaasa Schools, Madurai, India (Press Release).
